What You Will Do All Lowe’s associates deliver quality customer service while maintaining a store that is clean, safe, and stocked with the products our customers need. As a Store Manager, this means:
Ensuring associates deliver friendly, professional, and timely service to all customers.
Monitoring the performance, profitability, and flow-through of store plans and programs.
Championing and implementing strategic asset protection plans that improve safety and security outcomes.
The Store Manager collaborates with HR, Asset Protection, and Operations at the District, Region, and Corporate levels to execute Lowe’s business strategy. The role requires building and maintaining a store culture aligned to Lowe’s mission and behaviors, managing store talent needs, recruiting and developing talent, driving sales and service strategies, analyzing data to inform store strategies, and acting as the Lowe’s brand ambassador for the community.
Travel: This role does not require regular travel; however, occasional travel to meetings, trainings, or to support neighboring stores may be needed.
What We're Looking For
Salaried position, generally scheduled for 48 hours; more hours may be required based on business needs.
Availability required morning, afternoon, and evening any day of the week.
Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other duties; must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance and may lift more with assistance.
Minimum Qualifications What You Need To Succeed
4 years of experience leading associates in a large retail environment with annual sales volume exceeding $20M.
5 years of experience in a fast-paced, cross-functional work environment.
Experience building and maintaining cross-functional relationships in a matrixed environment.
Experience analyzing customer, market, and competitor data to inform decisions and business planning.
Experience managing or sponsoring the implementation of corporate or local change initiatives.
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to obtain sales-related licensure or registration as required by law.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
Experience managing in a big-box Home Improvement retail environment.
Experience building partnerships within the community.
Experience in a leadership role in more than one store volume or complexity level.
If required by state or local law, you must be licensed or pass the requisite licensing exam within sixty (60) days of starting employment.
Pay Range:
$90,000.00 - $133,900.00 annually . Starting pay may vary based on factors including position offered, location, education, training, and experience. For information regarding benefits, visit Lowe’s talent site.
