Job specification
Supervise and manage the ER nursing staff, including hiring, training, evaluating, and mentoring. Implement and enforce hospital policies, procedures, and standards of care to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the ER, including patient flow, staffing, resource allocation, and budget management. Maintain high standards of clinical practice, ensuring that all patient care is delivered according to established protocols and best practices. Serve as a liaison between the nursing staff, physicians, patients, and families to ensure Candidate requirements
A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required; a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or related field is preferred. Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience in an emergency room setting. At least 2 years of management or supervisory experience in a healthcare environment. Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) and other healthcare software. Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certifications are preferred.
