Job specification
Oversee the daily operations of the emergency department, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient workflow. Recruit, train, and manage emergency department staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment. Ensure that all patients receive prompt, compassionate, and effective care in compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies. Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental performance. Manage departmental budgets, supplies, and equipment to ensure optimal resource utilization. Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards, including OSHA, JCAHO, and state-specific requirements. Work closely with other hospital departments and senior leadership to coordinate care and improve overall hospital operations. Candidate requirements
Florida RN License required, associate's degree required, bachelor's preferred, ACLS, BLS, PALS 3+ years of acute care within the ER, 2+ years of leadership experience in the ER Active RN license in the state of Florida. Prior leadership or management experience in a healthcare setting. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment and make critical decisions.
