CommonSpirit Health Supervises and coaches laboratory personnel to ensure quality assurance and control as well as adherence to relevant policies and ethics. Oversees most laboratory day-to-day operations and exercises authority over personnel decisions. Responsibilities

Analyzes and interprets laboratory results in accordance with established laboratory work processes. Establishes a quality control program appropriate for the testing performed, and establishes the parameters for acceptable levels of analytic performance ensuring these levels are maintained throughout the entire testing process from the initial receipt of the specimen, through sample analysis and reporting of test results. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in biological or chemical sciences, as defined by CLIA. Minimum of five (5) years at a moderate or high complexity laboratory. American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP), or National Credentialing Agency for Laboratory Personnel (NCA) or Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS), or equivalent required. Additional state licensure as needed is required About the Hospital
