We are seeking an experienced Technical Product Owner for a 6-month contract to lead a critical, cross-functional security initiative. This individual will own the product strategy and execution for remediating container image vulnerabilities across our enterprise ML platform, ensuring a seamless and low-friction migration experience for our internal engineering customers.
The ideal candidate is always looking for ways to improve a product or service to make it better, faster, and more user-friendly. You are responsible for producing technology solutions from concept to delivery that satisfy customer needs in alignment with our overall strategy.
Location - McLean VA, New York, Austin TX, and Chicago IL
Key Responsibilities
Define, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog based on business goals and customer needs. Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into user stories, and ensure alignment with the product vision. Collaborate with the development team to clarify requirements and ensure deliverables meet acceptance criteria. Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Define clear goals for each sprint and ensure that high-value features are delivered. Serve as the voice of the customer, ensuring their needs are reflected in product decisions. Monitor product performance, gather feedback, and iterate to improve outcomes. Work with Product Managers to align backlog priorities with the broader product strategy. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 7 years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and manage a product backlog. Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or Trello. Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities. About Us
