specializing in Project and Construction Management is seeking a

Construction Scheduler I

to join our team. We deliver fully integrated Program management solutions to both public and private sector clients, including serving as the prime contractor for several public sector clients.

About the Role

The

Construction Scheduler I

will support major capital construction programs within the Los Angeles Community College District. This role is ideal for an early-career professional with strong scheduling skills and direct construction program experience.

You will be responsible for developing, reviewing, and maintaining project schedules, validating contractor updates, and preparing accurate reports to support timely decisions.

*Salary Range: $110K/Year-$120K/Year - Dependent on Candidate's Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

Develop project schedules aligned with program master schedule strategies.

Assist in updating and validating monthly program master schedules.

Review contractor schedules for

compliance with construction contracts

and industry standards.

Evaluate contractor schedule updates and draft narrative reports for management.

Review time impact analyses and recovery schedules.

Perform CPM (Critical Path Method) and EVM (Earned Value Management) analyses.

Prepare monthly Schedule Variance Reports.

Participate in site visits to monitor construction progress.

Support cost-loaded scheduling for accurate cash-flow forecasting.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and lead schedulers on schedule updates.

Minimum Qualifications

1–3 years of direct construction scheduling experience

on large capital programs (Owner or General Contractor side ).

Proficiency in

Primavera Scheduling Software

and

Microsoft Office

(Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Knowledge of cost engineering and scheduling principles.

Bachelor’s degree in

Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Business Administration , or related field.

Additional qualifying construction scheduling experience may substitute for education (year-for-year).

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Flexibility to travel to multiple construction sites; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
