Maintenance Project Manager
to lead on-site operations —a hands-on leadership role with direct impact on production and strategic alignment. Reporting to the COO, this position oversees a team of 22 maintenance technicians and is responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, facility readiness, and continuous improvement across a large-scale foundry. What you will do:
Lead mechanical and electrical maintenance across multiple facilities
Manage capital equipment planning, budgeting, and installation
Develop Statements of Work and oversee project bidding processes
Supervise and train maintenance personnel while ensuring safety and labor compliance
Maintain and optimize preventive maintenance schedules
Troubleshoot equipment issues, including electric, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC systems
Coordinate subcontractor activities and ensure regulatory compliance
Drive continuous improvement and gainsharing initiatives
Enforce company policies and union labor agreements
Track employee training, performance, and administrative documentation
What you will need to be successful:
Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance supervision or management
Associate degree in industrial technology, mechanical engineering, or related field
Strong knowledge of electric, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC systems
Prior experience in metal casting or foundry environments is highly
Proven ability to manage union labor effectively
Demonstrated CapEx experience, including equipment acquisition and facility upgrades
Familiarity with subcontractor coordination and regulatory compliance standards
