Job Description Description The position leads cross-functional teams, develops and executes compliance strategies, and influences organizational decision-making. Key responsibilities include regulatory monitoring, stakeholder engagement, policy development, and fostering a culture of proactive compliance. Ideal candidates bring 8–10+ years of experience, advanced regulatory knowledge, strong leadership, and the ability to manage complex projects that impact multiple business units. Interpreting regulations and conducting extensive regulatory research (much more complex regulations with many stakeholders involved) Get resistant stakeholders on board to comply Understand regulatory trends and determine what projects are needed to comply Requires strong business acumen, networking, and change management skills to facilitate compliance and manage resistance to new work. Current project example: complying with bans on Russian and Chinese equipment and managing extended producer requirements that vary by state Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Regulatory Affairs, Business Administration, Public Policy, Law, Engineering, or related field Certifications: PMP, RAC, CCEP 8–10+ years in regulatory affairs, compliance project management, or related field Proven success in managing regulatory projects and leading cross-functional teams Experience in policy development, advocacy, and organizational change Familiarity with agencies (e.g., CPSC, NHTSA) and standards bodies (e.g., SAE, UL, ANSI) Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $75.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
