The incumbent technologies are decades old, and there is strong demand for modern digital experiences and transparent financial services. Coast is building a world-class engineering team and is hiring front-end, full-stack, back-end, and platform engineers. The Senior Full-Stack Engineer Will
build product features end-to-end, from web UI to distributed services back end;
evaluate and integrate critical third-party software and infrastructure including the payments and mobility stacks;
automate, improve processes, simplify, and raise the bar for quality;
shape the engineering culture of the company;
have a voice in early technology and implementation choices.
The Senior Full-Stack Engineer Must
have 4-10+ years experience with first-class engineering teams delivering software to production;
substantial experience with server-side programming, databases, messaging, REST and APIs, and distributed systems;
substantial experience with modern web development, including TypeScript, design systems, and modern frameworks (e.g. React, Vue, Next.js);
extensive experience working in cross-functional agile teams with product and design;
deep hands-on knowledge developing applications in the cloud (preferably AWS);
proven history of delivering complex, highly available and scalable distributed systems;
pragmatic and results-oriented; passionate about building amazing products for customers;
ability to work independently with little oversight in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with high-energy, mission-driven colleagues.
Compensation
Salary range: $160,000 - $215,000 annually
Signing bonus and equity grant commensurate with level; compensation decisions based on scope, qualifications, experience, and internal equity
