The Senior Environmental Engineer will support environmental projects across Florida, focusing on PRP program work, contaminated site assessments, and insurance claim investigations. This remote role supports the Tampa office and involves report writing, regulatory compliance, and occasional field visits. The engineer will collaborate with junior staff and report to the Director of Operations and Quality Assurance. No direct reports are expected.
Responsibilities
Support environmental projects across Florida.
Focus on PRP program work, contaminated site assessments, and insurance claim investigations.
Perform report writing and ensure regulatory compliance.
Collaborate with junior staff.
Conduct occasional field visits.
Essential Skills PRP Program experience
Strong report writing skills
PE license (Civil, Mechanical, or Chemical)
7–20 years of environmental engineering experience
Ability to work independently and remotely
Must be located in Florida
Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with contaminated sites and insurance claim work
Geotechnical engineering experience
Knowledge of Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments
Understanding of environmental compliance and remediation
Soil sampling expertise
Background in geology
Work Environment This is a remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere in Florida, with a Monday–Friday schedule. After one year of employment, you will be eligible for one work-from-home day per week. The role includes occasional field visits. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
