Overview

The Project Manager plays a critical role in leading project delivery and supporting cross disciplinary initiatives from design through closeout. This role is accountable for coordinating tasks across permitting, construction, quality control, occupancy, staffing, and financial management. Known for subject matter expertise and growing influence, this individual is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to providing exceptional client experiences. Collaborates closely with project leadership to interpret broader service scope and proactively assess downstream impacts of daily decisions.

Responsibilities

Comprehensive Project Understanding: Maintain broad awareness of project scope and lifecycle phases, extending beyond assigned tasks. Apply best practices to improve execution and consistently contribute to project refinement. Act as a mentor and technical resource for junior team members, sharing knowledge and promoting growth Client Communication Strategy: Understand and apply the client's communication frameworks, recommending message strategies, mediums, and delivery timelines. Contribute to team coordination to ensure updates are timely, consistent, and aligned with client expectations. Lean into collaboration and influence peers to elevate the overall client experience Documentation Ownership & Coordination: Support development and maintenance of project documentation, ensuring clarity across roles, deliverables, and milestone tracking. Monitor documentation tools to ensure all activities are assigned to appropriate owners and reflect due dates and expectations. Collaborate with leadership to optimize tools that enable delivery efficiency and transparency Progress Monitoring & Reporting: Participate in ongoing evaluation of project progress against KPIs, goals, and timelines. Analyze performance data to identify trends, root causes, and potential corrective actions. Share meaningful updates with both internal and client stakeholders for informed decision-making. Contractual Oversight & Compliance Support: Understand client contract terms and partnership agreements to ensure day-to-day activities remain within scope. Help identify process improvements that drive compliance and operational efficiency. Financial Acumen & Task Execution: Execute key financial tasks such as budget tracking, metrics analysis, and spend reconciliation. Assist in preparing financial inputs for forecasting, variance reviews, and impact analysis. Meeting Facilitation & Leadership: Actively participate in client and internal meetings, demonstrating professionalism and purpose-driven facilitation. Observe audience cues to refine delivery style and communication strategies. Take ownership of selected agenda components, ensuring preparation, delivery, and follow-up. Stakeholder Engagement & Integration: Coordinate with project leadership to identify key client stakeholders and integration points. Support engagement through meaningful interactions focused on objectives, actions, and follow-up outcomes. Balance technical discussion with relationship-building across user groups, designers, vendors, and contractors. Procurement & Relocation Management: Manage components of furniture procurement and client relocation per project specifications. Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to align logistics, requirements, and scheduling. Project Documentation & Follow Through: Own ongoing documentation such as meeting minutes, status updates, and action trackers. Facilitate closure of open tasks through proactive coordination and team accountability. Requirements

Experience

Typically, 7+ years of project management experience, preferably in construction or facilities management Proven ability to deliver project phases from early planning through final closeout Strong analytical skills to support financial processes and metric-driven decisions Core Skills
