About the Opportunity
Pathway Talent Partners is partnering with a leading construction firm to identify a skilled and driven Project Manager to join its construction division. This role is pivotal in managing mechanical construction projects-including plumbing, piping, and HVAC-from preconstruction through closeout. It plays a direct role in client satisfaction, operational execution, and project profitability.
The ideal candidate will bring a strategic mindset with hands-on execution, and will thrive in a fast-paced environment while upholding a culture of safety and professionalism. Key Responsibilities Lead estimation and full lifecycle management of mechanical construction projects Oversee budgets and all phases of project execution-including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor coordination Maintain rigorous safety standards and ensure compliance across all job site activities Review and manage project contracts, submittals, change orders, RFIs, and tracking documentation Manage procurement processes and vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment Develop and maintain accurate schedules and coordinate field activities accordingly Collaborate with owners, general contractors, and internal teams to deliver quality projects on time and under budget Track costs and forecast budgets in partnership with administrative and finance teams Lead project closeout, documentation, and final client training to ensure satisfaction Identify risks proactively and drive resolution with project stakeholders Qualifications Previous experience managing mechanical construction projects (HVAC, plumbing, piping) Strong background in project estimation and job cost forecasting Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office (especially Excel) Excellent organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management is a plus Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally to job sites Work Environment & Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and navigate job sites safely Comfortable standing and walking up to 8 hours daily, with occasional climbing, crouching, and reaching
