Role Overview

The Product Manager/Owner will be responsible for defining product strategy, owning the roadmap, and leading cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, high-quality solutions aligned with business goals in the financial services sector. This senior-level position requires strong experience in agile methodologies, stakeholder management, and end-to-end product ownership in a complex, regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and long-term roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance requirements. Lead product discovery by gathering requirements from customers, stakeholders, and regulators, translating them into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and actionable backlogs. Prioritize features and initiatives based on business value, market trends, risk, and technical feasibility, making data-driven decisions to maximize ROI. Oversee all aspects of the product lifecycle, from ideation through launch to ongoing optimization, driving continuous improvement and adaptation in a rapidly changing marketplace. Collaborate closely with engineering, design, risk, compliance, marketing, and operations teams to ensure seamless product delivery and post-launch support. Act as the voice of the customer, championing user needs while balancing business, technical, and regulatory requirements. Utilize frameworks such as OKRs to set clear objectives, measure outcomes, and report progress to senior leadership. Lead regular agile ceremonies (standups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, retrospectives) and drive adoption of best practices to ensure product quality and team performance. Mentor and support junior product managers/owners, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation. Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. 8-10 years of progressive experience in product management or product ownership, preferably within financial services, payments, or similarly regulated domains. Proven track record managing end-to-end product lifecycle and delivering complex products at scale. Deep expertise in agile/scrum methodologies; recognized certifications (e.g., CSPO, PSPO) preferred. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across global, cross-functional teams. Experience with digital transformation, API platforms, customer experience optimization, or payment systems is highly desirable. Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis, KPIs, and experimentation frameworks. Ability to balance competing priorities, risk management, and regulatory compliance in a dynamic environment.
