Financial Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the organization’s mission and long-term goals. Budgeting: Lead the annual budgeting process and ensure budgetary compliance throughout the fiscal year. Financial Monitoring: Monitor financial performance and provide regular reports to the CEO and Board of Directors. Financial Management: Oversee all financial transactions and conduct financial analysis to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and financial risks. Internal Controls and Compliance: Ensure proper financial controls and procedures to safeguard assets and maintain regulatory compliance; oversee all financial audits. Investment and Cash Management: Manage the organization’s investment portfolio and cash management to optimize returns and liquidity. Financial Reporting and Compliance: Prepare accurate financial statements and ensure compliance with reporting requirements. Board Engagement: Present financial reports and updates to the Board to support informed decision-making. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks; monitor insurance coverage and adjust as necessary. Team Leadership and Development: Oversee the finance team, provide guidance and professional development, and foster a collaborative work environment. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field Typically 8+ years of financial management experience, with at least 2 years in a non-profit setting Commitment to the organization’s mission and values Compensation
$145,000 - $215,000 a year Location
