Support on-site trials, demonstrations, and application testing in ready-mix and precast operations. Diagnose and troubleshoot field performance issues, ensuring product reliability and consistency. Translate laboratory findings into practical, scalable solutions for customer operations. Coordinate with operations, sales, and R&D teams to align technical initiatives with business objectives. Collaborate with R&D on new product development and innovative solutions for customers Serve as a subject matter expert on standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements in the concrete industry. Business Development & Customer Engagement
Partner with commercial teams to identify, qualify, and support new business opportunities with concrete producers, contractors, and precast companies. Act as a technical advisor in sales discussions, helping customers understand performance, value, and ROI of Genable Concrete solutions. Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with decision-makers, influencers, and technical stakeholders. Contribute to the development of go-to-market strategies and customer adoption roadmaps. Industry Collaboration
Represent Universal Matter at conferences, technical committees, and customer forums, showcasing Genable technology. Track competitive offerings, customer needs, and regulatory developments to inform product positioning. Support strategic partnerships with admixture suppliers, cement companies, and construction firms. Training & Communication
Train customer staff and internal teams in the best practices for application and integration. Create technical and commercial support materials (case studies, ROI calculators, presentations). Deliver joint technical + business presentations to industry stakeholders. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Science, or related field (advanced degree preferred). Minimum 7+ years of technical experience in the concrete technology, admixtures, precast/ready-mix operations, or construction materials industry. In-depth knowledge of concrete mix design, durability, sustainability solutions, and admixture chemistry. Strong knowledge of ASTM, ACI, and other relevant standards and testing protocols. Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Exposure to commercial/business development is a plus; Ability to clearly articulate technical value in business terms Proven leadership and team management experience. Problem-solving mindset with a hands-on approach. Work Environment, Location & Travel
This is a remote role open to qualified candidates located anywhere in the United States/Canada with convenient access to a major airport. Homebased laboratory space is not required; company R&D centers and third-party labs can be leveraged. Expect up to 50% travel for plant trials, conferences, and customer visits.
