We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Construction Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex construction projects, particularly in the areas of DSA (Division of the State Architect), K-12 educational facilities, and student dormitories. This role requires a professional with 5-10 years of relevant work experience who can effectively lead projects from inception to completion while ensuring quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage all aspects of assigned construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation

Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals and objectives are met

Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of all project milestones

Manage project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking, and reporting

Coordinate and oversee the work of subcontractors and vendors

Ensure compliance with DSA regulations, building codes, and safety standards

Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work

Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project success

Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and clients

Manage change orders and resolve conflicts or disputes that arise during the construction process

Implement and maintain quality control and safety programs

Coordinate with local authorities and regulatory bodies for necessary permits and approvals

Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping throughout the project lifecycle

Qualifications and Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field

5-10 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on DSA, K-12, and student dormitory projects. Commercial and OSHPD/HCI project welcome

Proven track record of successfully managing multiple large-scale construction projects

In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and industry standards

Strong understanding of DSA processes and requirements

Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera P6)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong leadership and team management abilities

Analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings

Familiarity with construction contracts and legal aspects of the industry

Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed
