HELP OUT: SD Model Railroad Halloween Family Fun Day
The San Diego Model Railroad Museum (SDMRM) is looking for volunteers to make their Halloween Family Fun Day happen! Including outside volunteers allows parents and children a much more personal and friendly experience. Train lovers and Halloween fans encouraged! Volunteers will assist with crafting tables, including set-up and helping children with their crafts. Volunteers will also hand out scavenger hunts, greet people as they enter the event, and maintain a friendly and upbeat atmosphere. At the end of the event, volunteers will assist with cleanup. Attire:
Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes. Halloween attire is welcome! This opportunity takes place indoors. Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit or stand for a 3-4 hour period. This project is able to make accommodations for individuals with physical limitations by providing chairs for anyone who prefers to sit. Elevators are available and the space is wheelchair accessible. The San Diego Model Railroad Museum's mission is to research, collect, preserve, and present the heritage of American railroading using educational programs, displays, toy trains, and scale models of California railroads.
