We are seeking an experienced and dedicated
Emergency Department Nurse Manager (RN)
to lead and oversee the daily operations of our busy Emergency Department. This role is responsible for the
24-hour management
of the unit, ensuring that high-quality, patient-centered care is delivered in compliance with clinical and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will bring
acute care ER nursing experience , demonstrated
leadership in a hospital setting , and the ability to
manage staff, resources, and quality initiatives
to improve clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
Provide leadership and direction for all nursing staff in the Emergency Department. Oversee daily operations, staffing, patient flow, and care coordination. Ensure delivery of high-quality, evidence-based, and patient-focused care. Manage department budget, supply chain, and resource utilization. Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures. Mentor and coach staff to foster professional growth and adherence to clinical best practices. Coordinate with physicians, specialists, and other hospital departments. Monitor departmental performance metrics and lead quality improvement initiatives. Maintain readiness for regulatory inspections and compliance with all state/federal laws. Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Active RN License in Nevada
or ability to obtain Minimum
3 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
in an acute care hospital Minimum
2 years of nursing leadership or charge nurse experience Strong understanding of ED operations, triage protocols, and emergency care pathways Excellent communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Nursing (MSN), Healthcare Administration, or related field Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) or related specialty certification Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies for process improvement
