This role is ideal for a forward-thinking RN leader with a strong grasp of clinical operations and a passion for driving quality outcomes in high-acuity, fast-paced environments.The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of Emergency Department operations from team performance and compliance to patient flow and service delivery ensuring a consistently high standard of care around the clock.What You'll Be Responsible ForAs the Emergency Department Nurse Manager, you will be accountable for the overall leadership, clinical oversight, and strategic direction of a 24/7 emergency care unit.Core Duties:Lead daily operations of the Emergency Department, including staffing, resource management, and patient throughputFoster a culture of clinical excellence through mentorship, coaching, and staff development initiativesDrive compliance with all local, state, and federal healthcare regulations as well as internal policies and accreditation standardsImplement data-informed decisions to improve patient safety, satisfaction, and clinical outcomesCollaborate with physicians and senior hospital leaders to ensure coordinated, multidisciplinary care deliveryIdentify and respond to performance gaps using evidence-based practices and root cause analysisPromote staff engagement and accountability through open communication and performance reviewsWhat You'll BringWe're looking for a confident, solutions-oriented leader with a calm demeanor, clinical expertise, and the ability to navigate challenging situations with professionalism and empathy.Minimum Requirements:BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) from an accredited program (Masters preferred but not required)Active RN license in Nevada (or eligibility for endorsement)2-5 years of recent Emergency Department experience in a hospital settingProven leadership experience, such as Nurse Manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, or Charge RNStrong command of clinical standards and emergency care best practicesExcellent organizational and interpersonal skillsHigh emotional intelligence and ability to remain composed in critical situationsWillingness to participate in hospital leadership meetings, on-call rotation, and limited travelWhat's in It for YouThis organization takes pride in offering its leaders more than just a title.
