Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 2 years of neuro experience, BLS, ACLS, and RCIS credentials. Responsibilities Work in a cardiac catheterization lab with 4 procedure rooms and 1 patient per room Patient assignments are 1:1 in a unit staffed by RNs and technologists Procedures performed include cardiac catheterization, cerebellar angiograms, stents, balloons, and ENT lab procedures All GE equipment is used in the unit Uses Meditech and MacLab documentation systems Day shift from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM Call required up to 15 days during critical periods Responsibilities include scrubbing and assisting with cardiac and neurovascular procedures Team structure includes director, manager, and minimum of three staff per room on days Surgical scrubs are provided by the unit Daily huddles and a collaborative environment are emphasized Department is recognized for excellence and strong leadership Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Must have neuro experience RCIS certification required ARRT certification required Allied candidates must have at least 6 months of experience in this role within the last 6 months No work history gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months License required if applicable Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-575608.
