Overview

Under the Store Manager’s guidance, MITs lead by initiative and strong leadership, supporting AutoZone’s mission of providing trusted automotive solutions.
As a Parts Sales Manager, you will drive sales performance, foster a high-performing team, and ensure an exceptional WOW! Customer Service experience. You will contribute to a vibrant team dedicated to reaching goals, developing leadership abilities, and advancing careers in automotive retail.
Responsibilities
- Leadership – Assist the Store Manager in supervising, training, and developing high-performing employees, fostering a motivated and engaged team.
- Communication – Maintain clear, effective interactions with customers and employees to ensure smooth store operations and positive experiences.
- Metrics Mindedness – Monitor sales goals, inventory accuracy, and performance standards to drive business success.
- Process Orientation – Follow structured store procedures, manage inventory, oversee cash handling, control shrink, and ensure operational efficiency.
- Teamwork – Collaborate with store staff and commercial department leaders to maintain seamless operations and customer service excellence.
- Parts Sales & Inventory Management – Lead efforts to exceed sales targets, optimize inventory levels, and ensure timely returns processing and merchandising.
- Safety & Compliance – Enforce PPE use, promote risk management practices, and uphold company safety standards.
- Commercial Account Support – Assist in managing commercial and hub departments to support timely deliveries and customer needs.
- Problem Solving – Resolve customer concerns and store operational issues swiftly, upholding company policies.
Qualifications
- Leadership: Demonstrates integrity, decision-making skills, and strong leadership abilities.
- Flexible Schedule: Availability including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
- Extra Mile Qualities: Exceptional communication in Spanish and English; automotive retail experience; ASE certification.
