Required qualifications include an active RN license, current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and recent experience in labor and delivery. You should have strong assessment skills, the ability to work in a team, and a minimum of one year of recent labor and delivery experience. Recommended skills include advanced fetal monitoring, neonatal resuscitation, and experience with high-risk deliveries.
