Travel Job Description & Requirements Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery - Travel - (LD RN) StartDate: 11/3/2025 Available Shifts: 12 N Pay Rate: $2814.94 - $3102.18 Beds: 22 Small unit, close-knit group. Well established RNs on the unit Minimum Years of Experience required? 2 years, postpartum or LDRP experience accepted Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes Post-vaginal and c-section women, couplet care with mom + newborns RN: 1:3 couplets, 1:2 if multiple births BLS, NRP Fundal massage, newborn care including heel sticks, 24h testing, NAS scoring, lactation support, Pitocin drips, IV starts Mag drips preferred; L&D RNs will initiate the drip EPIC experience is required CNA – 1 on the unit LPNs who sometimes take patients, sometimes just help with relief/breaks HUC: 24/7 Charge nurse – typically does not take patients Phlebotomy RT 24/7? Hospitalist 24/7 Intensivist 24/7 Pediatrician and neonatologist available 24/7, as well as NNP EMR: EPIC - required IV Pump: Alaris Med dispensing: Pyxis Panda warmers if needed Could float to L&D for LDRP patients only Required Qualifications Registered Nurse, LD Experience: 2 years SSN Required DOB Required References: 1 Reference in entire work history Preferred Qualifications 1st time traveler ok if not licensed ok for pending WA RN license in process, please provide date of application Facility Location Just 30 miles south of Seattle, in the shadow of Mount Rainier, pristine Tacoma offers a healthy, outdoorsy lifestyle and an abundance of natural wonders in its backyard.
