Summary:
Manage the accounts payable and receivable staff. Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with company policies. Responsible for overseeing internal processes and administrative functions as well as monitoring team workload and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster a culture of accountability by setting clear expectations, providing regular feedback & ensuring team members take ownership of their work & outcomes.
- Manage the payables team, ability to process invoices and credits, oversee check payment schedule.
- Manage the receivables team, ability to process payments, refunds and explain customer account activity.
- Manage vendor contracts.
- Nourish a collaborative team environment & be a welcoming & approachable resource for your team.
- Manage workloads of team members and reallocate duties as necessary.
- Be hands on in all processes within the department analyzing opportunities for positive changes to increase efficiencies.
- Communicate & collaborate with other departments. Provide guidance and training on procedures & policies.
- Fulfill other corporate duties as needed.
Education/Work Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting.
- Five years in a managerial position.
Qualifications:
- Experience in training and supervising and departmental collaboration.
- Proficiency in accounting procedures and principles.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to increase efficiencies through analyzing processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Effective time-management abilities.
- Ability to perform all accounting functions.

- Proficiency in various PC software.
