Quality Control Manager (QCM)
is responsible for overseeing and enforcing the quality standards for federal construction projects, with a focus on
electrical work . The QCM ensures compliance with the
Three-Phase Control System
as required by USACE, NAVFAC, and other federal agencies. Key Responsibilities: Implement and manage the
Three-Phase Quality Control System . Develop and maintain the project-specific
Quality Control Plan (QCP) . Review project drawings, specs, and submittals for compliance. Conduct
Preparatory, Initial, and Follow-Up
quality control meetings and inspections. Coordinate third-party inspections, testing, and reporting. Maintain daily QC reports and documentation per contract requirements. Interface with government QC representatives and address non-compliance issues. Ensure all electrical installations meet NEC, NFPA, and project-specific requirements. Qualifications: 5+ years of construction quality control experience, with 2+ years on federal projects. Prior QCM experience on
USACE/NAVFAC/VA
projects. USACE Construction Quality Management (CQM-C)
certification (required). Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and quality requirements. Experience writing and implementing QC plans and procedures. OSHA 30 certification and ability to work on active job sites. Excellent documentation and communication skills.
