Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist Profession: Diagnostic Imaging Specialty: General Abdominal/Obstetric and Small Parts Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum of 3 years License: Licensed in the State of Oregon as Ultrasonographer or Radiologic Technologist/Sonographer Certifications: Certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or equivalent approved certification Must-Have: Graduate of a Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation accredited sonography program or equivalent Description: Provide health care services, applying sonic energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment. Perform ultrasonic imaging and related procedures in the areas of OB/GYN, abdomen, neurosonology, and/or ophthalmology. Demonstrate anatomy for interpretation and/or intervention by a licensed practitioner. Exercise professional judgment in the performance of services. Maintain a demeanor complementary to medical ethics. Apply appropriate patient care and recognize patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.
