Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist Profession: Diagnostic Imaging Specialty: General abdomen/obstetrics/small parts Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: Minimum of 3 years License: Licensed in the State of Oregon as Ultrasonographer or Radiologic Technologist/Sonographer Certifications: Certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or equivalent approved certification Must-Have: Graduate of a CAHEA accredited sonography program or equivalent Description: Provide healthcare services, applying sonic energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment. Perform ultrasonic imaging and related procedures in the areas of OB/GYN, abdomen, and/or neurosonology, and/or ophthalmology. Demonstrate anatomy for interpretation and/or intervention, as requested by a licensed practitioner. Exercise professional judgment in the performance of services and maintain a demeanor that complements medical ethics. Apply appropriate patient care and recognize patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.
