Job Description & Requirements ~ Specialty: MRI Technologist ~ Discipline: Allied Health Professional ~ Start Date: 10/31/2025 ~ Duration: 13 weeks ~40 hours per week ~ Shift: 8 hours, days ~ Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with ARRT (R)(MRI) certification and Epic EMR proficiency for a rotating shift assignment. Responsibilities ~ Work in a Radiology-MRI department serving adult ER, inpatient, and outpatient populations ~ One-on-one patient ratio for MRI scans ~ Perform procedures including standard, cardiac, and functional MRIs ~ Operate GE or Siemens MRI systems ~36-hour work week consisting of 8-hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday, and 10-hour shifts on either Monday or Tuesday ~ Rotating 9-hour shifts with shift schedules between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM ~ On-call coverage required as needed ~ Use Epic EMR system for documentation ~ Locals within 75 miles are accepted at a different rate ~ All time off requests must be provided prior to consideration ~ Mandatory overtime may be required to ensure unit coverage ~ Medical and religious declinations for COVID and Flu vaccines are accepted Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist ARRT (R)(MRI) advanced certification required for consideration BLS certification required Epic EMR experience required Previous travel experience is highly preferred Active CT state license required before start License required if applicable Benefits ~ High Pay and Bonuses ~ Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options ~401(k) Plan ~ Weekly Payroll Deposit ~ Free Online CEUs ~ Generous Housing Allowance ~ Travel and Licensure Reimbursements ~ Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy ~ Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID #P-613608.
