Job Description & Requirements ~ Specialty: MRI Technologist ~ Discipline: Allied Health Professional ~ Start Date: 10/31/2025 ~ Duration: 13 weeks ~40 hours per week ~ Shift: 8 hours, evenings ~ Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a 13-week evening shift assignment requiring 2+ years of experience and ARRT (R)(MRI) certification. Responsibilities Position is in a Radiology-MRI unit serving adult ER, inpatient, and outpatient populations Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8-hour evening shifts with varying start times between 2:00 PM and 3:30 PM Includes every fourth weekend rotation, holiday coverage, and on-call as needed Patient ratio is 1:1 Experience with GE or Siemens MRI systems will be considered Cardiac MRIs and Functional MRIs are preferred procedures Uses Epic EMR; prior Epic experience is required Main responsibilities include performing adult MRI scans, including cardiac and functional MRIs as available You will be included as part of the staff rotation pool for mandatory overtime as needed to maintain unit coverage Medical and religious declinations allowed for COVID and Flu vaccines Locals are accepted at a lower bill rate All time off requests must be submitted at the time of application Requirements Minimum of 2 years recent MRI technologist experience required ARRT (R) (MRI) advanced certification required BLS certification required Experience with GE or Siemens MRI equipment considered Epic charting experience required Active Connecticut state license required before start date if applicable Previous travel experience is highly preferred Benefits ~ High Pay and Bonuses ~ Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options ~401(k) Plan ~ Weekly Payroll Deposit ~ Free Online CEUs ~ Generous Housing Allowance ~ Travel and Licensure Reimbursements ~ Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy ~ Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID #P-619187.
