Superintendent - Grocery Store Construction

Position Overview
A top general contractor is seeking an experienced Superintendent - Construction to oversee and manage construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, particularly within the grocery sector, and will be responsible for coordinating all site activities and managing project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations on the construction site to ensure project progress aligns with timelines and goals.
• Coordinate and supervise construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to facilitate communication and project efficiency.
• Monitor construction progress and address any challenges or delays promptly.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure work meets industry standards and project specifications.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports on progress, budget, and schedules.
• Conduct regular site inspections to assess work quality and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry, with a focus on grocery projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Experience with ground-up construction and commercial projects is preferred.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
