The

Warehouse Associate - Receiving

is responsible for supporting warehouse operations by accurately processing inbound and outbound shipments, receiving inventory, kitting, boxing, and preparing orders for shipment. This position ensures high-quality, error-free service that meets customer and business expectations. The role complies with all company policies, safety protocols, and performance goals related to quality, on-time delivery, and cost control. Position Responsibilities May Include: Accurately receive, inspect, and document inbound shipments according to company standards. Package products and accessories for outbound shipment per order requirements to ensure timely and damage-free delivery. Perform kitting, boxing, and labeling of inventory at the packaging station. File and maintain receiving documentation and logs. Support inventory control efforts, including regular cycle counts and reconciliation of discrepancies. Cross-train across warehouse functions (picking, shipping, kitting, inventory control) to support business flexibility and growth. Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load/unload trailers and move product throughout the warehouse. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all work instructions, safety policies, and standard operating procedures. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor. Nature & Scope: Works under general supervision using established procedures. Tasks are well-defined and follow standard warehouse operations. Work is closely monitored for accuracy and compliance. Knowledge & Skills: Ability to accurately receive, handle, and package materials in a high-volume warehouse environment. Familiarity with warehouse systems (e.g., PKMS, Lucas) and RF scanning equipment. Solid math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and product handling. Clear verbal and written communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively and contribute to a team environment. Understanding of and adherence to safety policies and best practices. Forklift operation experience and safe handling of material handling equipment. Demonstrates sound judgment, integrity, and a strong work ethic. Competency: Customer and quality focus Team collaboration Time management Dependability and accountability Experience: 3-5 years of experience in warehouse receiving, shipping, or inventory processing roles. Education/Certification: High School diploma or GED required Forklift certification required (in-house training/certification available) People Management: No Physical Requirements / Work Environment: Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation. Fast-paced distribution warehouse environment with frequent forklift and equipment traffic. May experience elevated noise levels; hearing protection may be required. Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8-10 hours per day). Frequent repetitive movement, bending, reaching, twisting, and turning. Regularly required to lift, carry, and move items up to 50 lbs.
