Position Summary: We are currently hiring a part time bilingual English/Spanish Nationally Certified Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist to work in our Bronx-based family medicine practice.
Key Duties:
- Process blood draws, collects specimens and processes lab orders.
- Prepare examination rooms and equipment.
- Obtain vital signs, chief complaints, medical history and accurately records in medical records.
- Completes referrals and discharges patients.
- Assists providers and nurses during all aspects of exams.
- Assist provider with treatments
- Schedules for appointments, verify insurance and demographic information.
Starting Compensation: Minimum: $23.00/hour ; Maximum: $23.00/hour
Work Environment Type, Location, and Schedule: Onsite in the Bronx, 16 hour shift between Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Medical Assistant Certificate/Training School and National Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT)
- Bilingual Spanish/English required.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Computer literacy.
- Responsible individual who genuinely wants to support our patients.
