Position Summary
We are currently hiring a part-time bilingual English/Spanish Nationally Certified Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist to work in our Bronx-based family medicine practice.
Key Duties
- Process blood draws, collect specimens and process lab orders.
- Prepare examination rooms and equipment.
- Obtain vital signs, chief complaints, medical history and accurately records in medical records.
- Complete referrals and discharge patients.
- Assist providers and nurses during all aspects of exams.
- Assist provider with treatments.
- Schedule for appointments, verify insurance and demographic information.
Starting Compensation
Minimum: $23.00/hour; Maximum: $23.00/hour
Work Environment Type, Location, and Schedule
Onsite in the Bronx, 16 hour shift between Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm.

Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Medical Assistant Certificate/Training School and National Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT)
- Bilingual Spanish/English required.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Computer literacy.
- Responsible individual who genuinely wants to support our patients.
