CP&P is seeking an Administrative Assistant to manage front office operations and support both office and production staff. This role is fast-paced and varied, handling everything from reception and mail to safety data, HR paperwork, purchasing, and payroll reporting. It’s a great fit for someone who’s highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives on keeping things running smoothly.
What You’ll Do:
- Greet visitors, answer phones, and keep the front office professional and welcoming
- Manage mail, shipments, and safety gear inventory (hard hats, vests, shoes, etc.)
- Coordinate office moves and support facility needs
- Provide administrative support for production, including inventory, reporting, and projects
- Handle purchasing and accounting tasks (POs, invoices, payables, receivables)
- Support HR processes: onboarding, training records, performance reviews, PTO, and confidential files
- Prepare weekly payroll reports and assist with corporate HR/payroll inquiries
- Maintain safety records and coordinate screenings/exams (drug, hearing, respirator, etc.)
- Serve as backup for delivery dispatch (scheduling, tickets, driver directions)
- Other duties as assigned by Plant Manager
What You Bring:
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Professional, calm, and polite communication style
- Solid computer skills (MS Office; willing to learn new software)
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ years in office management or similar administrative role

What You Need:
- A high school diploma or GED
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Authorization to work in the United States for any employer
Schedule & Work Environment:
- Monday to Friday, 40+ hours per week, depending on workload (occasional overtime as needed)
- Work is performed in an office environment, with clean, climate-controlled areas and fluorescent lighting
- May occasionally enter production areas with ambient weather/air conditions, loud noise, dangerous equipment, and variable lighting
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required in all production areas
Physical Demands:
- Standing, sitting, walking, climbing, reaching, bending/stooping
- Lifting (up to 30 lbs.)
- Pushing/pulling (up to 50 lbs.)
