Overview

Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Material Handler in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin.

Warehouse Forklift Operator / Driver positions pay weekly.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Perform duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
• Responsible for accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide technical and maintenance support for the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to thrive in a diverse work environment.
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships at all levels of the organization.
• Detail oriented with high accuracy, even under pressure; highly thorough and dependable.
• Must be punctual with good attendance; ability to stand for long periods and lift/push/pull up to 35 lbs.
• Must be available to work on a flexible schedule across various shifts.

Position Details

• Location: Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin
• Schedule: 2nd Shift Wednesday - Saturday 4:00 pm – 4:00 am; half day on Wednesday
• Compensation: Hourly Pay $19.25 per hour; Overtime Pay $28.87 per hour; Additional pay $2.00 per hour when assigned to second shift; $0.75 pay increase after 6 months
