HireLevel is hiring a HR Generalist in Edwardsville, IL.
From onboarding new team members and guiding employee relations to supporting recruitment and compliance, you’ll play an important part in shaping a positive and productive workplace. The ideal candidate will be responsible for recruitment efforts, new hire orientation and onboarding, employee termination, payroll and benefits, company policy and procedure adherence.
Salary is based on experience and can range from $60,000 - $90,000/year.

Responsibilities of HR Generalist:
- Stay current with employment laws and compliance requirements affecting HR practices
- Provide guidance to managers on employee relations and performance issues
- Organize and deliver new hire orientation to support engagement and onboarding
- Facilitate employee meetings and document key outcomes
- Partner with HR leadership on addressing recurring or complex issues
- Coordinate and lead supervisor/manager training on HR-related topics
- Respond to employee questions regarding policies, benefits, and HR programs
- Oversee recruiting efforts for hourly and entry-level salaried positions, including job fairs and other hiring events
Qualifications of HR Generalist:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Human Resources, or related area
- 3+ years' of experience working in Human Resources
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
