EBSCO Information Services (EIS) is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Representative to join our Finance team in Birmingham, AL. This role focuses on accounts receivable functions, analyzing complex financial data, and driving improvements in financial processes in a high-volume environment. What You'll Do
Perform financial customer services for EBSCO Information Services accounts, including collections, cash management, posting payments, balancing, reconciliations, customized reporting, and maintaining customer master records related to billing, invoicing, and tax. About You
HS diploma or equivalent 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or accounting 2 years of experience using Microsoft Excel Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook and Word or similar applications Positive attitude, customer-focused, organized, adaptable to change, and able to deliver results in a fast-changing environment Excellent data entry and computer skills, with strong communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to analyze complex information and make disciplined, fact-based decisions Team members may be asked to work remotely or within the office by leadership Must have access to high-speed internet at home due to potential remote work What Sets You Apart
2 years of experience in business-to-business collections Experience using SAP accounting software Familiarity with HighRadius or similar software Education in accounting or finance (high school, college, or equivalent) Pay Range
