Overview

LISI AEROSPACE is a global designer and manufacturer of high-tech metal components for aircraft safety and performance. This position supports the local plant controller in California (City of Industry, Torrance, or Garden Grove). The Financial Operations Analyst will oversee accounting activity, ensure accurate statements and reporting, and contribute to efficient operations. This role participates in monthly reporting of key financial statements and performance indicators, and performs depth analysis of variances versus Year-1, Budget, and Reforecast. In addition, on a quarterly/annual basis, the analyst will assist in the FP&A process for the assigned entity and help establish internal controls to protect company assets. Other duties may vary by assignment from the plant controller, including cost accounting management, margin analysis, productivity and cost-reduction actions, inventory actions, and ERP system implementation (Garden Grove). Responsibilities

Contribute to prepare monthly financial statements (BRF, BFC, etc.) and monthly reporting routines presentations, and variance analysis (last year vs. budget). Provide analysis of significant P&L factors/variances and all essential KPIs as defined in the Balanced Scorecard. Participate in FP&A analysis and oversee monthly financial closing requirements and report results. Maintain, review, and audit inventories (Finished Goods, Raw Materials, Work In Progress, Tooling, and Fixed Assets). Participate in capital expenditures projects: evaluate current expenditures, support business cases for CAPEX, estimate costs for quoting activities, and calculate ROI. Participate in the implementation and ongoing management of the cost accounting module in the ERP system. Conduct cost and product costing analysis and other on-demand analyses. Identify opportunities to improve operational performance by setting objectives, measuring progress, and reporting results.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) or equivalent degree. At least three years in Finance or Controlling in a manufacturing environment; equivalent related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Travel across Los Angeles area (City of Industry, Torrance, Garden Grove). Skills, Experience & Behavioral Competencies
