The Financial Operations Analyst will be a support to the local plant controller located in California which could be City of industry, Torrance, Garden Grove. He will support local plant controller by overseeing the accounting activity, ensuring accurate statements/reporting and efficient operations. He will participate to the monthly reporting routines (key financial statements like Profit & Loss statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement and key performance indicators) and will perform some depth analysis of the performance by analyzing the variance versus Year-1 / Budget and Reforecast. In a quarterly / annually frequency, he will help in the FP&A (Financial Planning and Analysis) process of the assigned entity. He will also support to establish and monitor internal controls to protect company assets (assets, inventory) and minimize financial risks. He’ll get involved on internal controls and external audits. Other duties may vary depending on assignments by TOR plant controller including duties related to cost accounting management, monitoring and analysis of the margin list, productivity actions plan, cost reduction actions plan, inventory actions plan, implementation of new ERP system (Garden Grove). Provide analysis of significant P&L factors/variances and all essential KPIs as defined in the Balance Score Card. Get involve to prepare FP&A (Financial planning and Analysis) analysis and oversee monthly financial closing requirements and reports results Maintain, review, and audit inventories (Finish Goods, Raw Materials, Work In Progress, Tooling and Fixed Assets). Participate in capital expenditures projects: evaluate current expenditures, provide data in support of business cases for capital expenditures; estimate costs to support quoting activities and calculate the Return On Investment. Participate in the implementation and ongoing management of the cost accounting module in the ERP system. Conduct cost and product costing analysis or any on demand analysis. Continually seek opportunities to improve operational performance by establishing objectives and targets, measuring progress, and reporting results. WAYS OF WORKING, EXPERIENCE, AND BEHAVIORS
