Job Scope

This role will lead the design, build, and scale of the Loyalty Card as a Service (LCAAS) platform with a deep focus on how partners and members engage through AI-powered loyalty, payments, and offer ecosystems.

Job Summary

The FDE will serve as the technical driving force behind our LCCAAS offering, blending hands-on engineering, AI and automation expertise, partner collaboration, and technical leadership. This role ensures LCCAAS is not only delivered successfully but also evolves into a modular, intelligent, and monetizable loyalty platform. By supporting both B2B2C and white-label partner contexts, the FDE will directly impact partner growth, member engagement, and measurable business outcomes.

Job Duties / Responsibilities Leads the development and delivery of partner-facing APIs, SDKs, and onboarding toolkits supporting loyalty, payments, and rewards solutions

Builds low-friction integration workflows and scalable toolkits that reduce partner time-to-value

Collaborates with Product, GTM, and Partner teams to align platform deployments with key growth metrics, including adoption, retention, and monetization

Serves as the forward-deployed engineering counterpart in strategic partner engagements, providing regular success reports (uptime, latency, activation time, automation ROI)

Leads the deployment of AI/ML pipelines supporting advanced use cases, including personalized rewards, predictive loyalty scoring, fraud detection, and dynamic offer delivery

Integrates multi-agent orchestration (LangChain, RAG pipelines, vector DBs) into partner workflows and LCAAS APIs

Leverages agentic AI tools to accelerate onboarding, automate data processes, and deliver partner-facing copilots

Develops automation playbooks (CI/CD triggers, auto-scaling, self-healing pipelines) and ensures observability, monitoring, and compliance (PCI DSS, SOC2, GDPR/CCPA)

Drives the cloud architecture and integration strategy for the LCAAS platform, partnering across teams to optimize scalability, resilience, and cost performance

Drives DevOps adoption by delivering IaC, CI/CD, automated testing, and release management, while ensuring robust observability with monitoring, tracing, and logging

Ensures reliable and compliant system operations by managing API gateways, traffic flows, zero-trust security practices, and disaster recovery measures

Designs modular, future-proof services supporting real-time loyalty events, digital wallets, tokenized payments, and privacy-first data flows

Supports engineers in platform, integration, and AI disciplines through mentorship, knowledge-sharing, and career development

Promotes a culture of innovation by driving experimentation, rapid feedback cycles, and delivery approaches that prioritize partner needs and outcomes

Contributes to organizational strategy through involvement in planning, goal-setting (OKRs), talent acquisition, and effective resource management

Job Requirements Bachelor's Degree

Over 10 years of related experience

18 years of age or older

Required Skills 12+ years in software engineering; experience in partner-facing or forward-deployed roles

Proven ability to deploy B2B/B2B2C SaaS APIs and platforms in production

Strong experience with cloud-native development (AWS/GCP/Azure), IaC (Terraform/CDK), and CI/CD

Hands-on with AI/LLM frameworks (LangChain, vector DBs, RAG pipelines, Hugging Face, Vertex AI, Bedrock)

Skilled in event-driven architectures and real-time loyalty/payments flows

Deep knowledge of loyalty and rewards systems: earn/burn, tiers, catalogs, predictive scoring

Familiarity with payments, wallets, tokenization, and smart contract-based loyalty models

Understanding of compliance, security, and developer enablement best practices

Clear communicator, able to translate technical deployments into business growth outcomes

Thrives in ambiguous, high-velocity environments with direct partner engagement

Passion for building AI-native partner experiences that drive measurable growth
