The Novum Pump Platform (NPP) is Baxter’s state-of-the-art infusion platform designed to deliver life-saving medication to patients. Our pumps must meet the highest safety standards. What You'll Be Doing

Develop software in C/C++ and Python for embedded devices. Write design specifications. Write test procedures. Attend and contribute to weekly team meetings. Attend and participate in technical reviews of NPP projects. Act independently with minimal supervision to conduct smaller approved projects. Suggest improvements based on recent technical knowledge. Contribute to cost estimating of major capital budget items and the spending of approved project funds. Contribute to planning and execution of components of the development process for product revision or enhancement. Manage routine small projects without assistance. Investigate and analyze customer service problems and design improvement suggestions. What You'll Bring

Bachelor of Engineering in software, Computer, or Electrical Engineering or related with 1+ years of experience, or a Master’s with 1+ years. Familiarity with C/C++. Familiarity with Linux is a plus. Familiarity with Python, MATLAB, or other object-oriented programming languages. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving abilities. Positive, team-oriented, adaptable to change, and collaborative attitude. Training in Six Sigma quality concepts is a plus. The estimated base salary for this position is $72,000 - $99,000 annually. Final pay is based on location, skills, experience, and other factors. This information is intended as a pay range and may change.
