Overview
Sr. Analyst, Performance Marketing at The Walt Disney Studios. This role sits within the Performance Marketing Strategy & Operations team and works directly with performance marketing activation partners to drive value for The Walt Disney Studios. The team leverages ad technologies to achieve data-driven results across auction-based and addressable media platforms, while supporting other paid media and marketing efforts with insights and innovative technologies. Performance Marketing includes Marketing Technology and Marketing Science, as well as Performance Marketing Strategy & Operations, Marketing Analytics, and Marketing Compliance. The goal is continuous improvement in advertising effectiveness and efficiency while protecting and enhancing The Walt Disney Studios’ brands. Responsibilities primarily involve developing and implementing performance marketing strategy and operations for a subset of theatrical and streaming titles, including operations, optimizations, audiences, pacing, and bids across Disney Entertainment Studio Content Marketing campaigns. The role reports to a Senior Team Lead and collaborates across internal media teams and with our external media agency to ensure proper implementation and ongoing optimization of campaigns. Key Responsibilities
Work directly under and with a Senior Team Lead to build and implement performance marketing strategy for selected titles, including operations, optimizations, audiences, pacing, and bids across Disney Entertainment Studio Content Marketing campaigns Build and implement holistic, omni-platform audience data strategy (first-, second-, and third-party data) Develop auction bid, pacing, and optimization strategies to improve media performance Monitor and manage performance marketing budgets for testing, analytics, measurement, and contingency Monitor testing setups within ad platforms to ensure success of test campaigns Maintain clean data ingestion and processing by monitoring taxonomies and inputs in ad buying platforms Interpret and share analyses and learnings from titles, data testing, and campaigns in partnership with Marketing Science and Analytics teams Collaborate cross-functionally with internal media/marketing teams and external media agency to improve outcomes Participate as a member of a cohesive, cross-functional Performance Marketing team Communicate with media agency performance marketing activation teams to ensure proper campaign implementation Support internal teams with ad hoc projects as needed Maintain knowledge of media technology, buying platforms, and analytics tools with the team and stakeholders Keep up-to-date with performance marketing business processes Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience 5+ years in Advertising Media (digital), Media Analytics, or Social/Programmatic Auction Buying Experience with ad platforms and tools (DMPs, Google Ads, Facebook/Instagram, Twitter, Innovid, LiveRamp, DSPs such as DV360, Trade Desk, Verizon Media) Excellent analytical skills and strong written/verbal communication Well-organized and detail-oriented Understanding of the ad technology ecosystem; proficiency with Excel Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of digital ad serving, tracking, and implementation On-site work capability in Burbank, CA (hybrid) Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with cross-functional teams The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $104,600 to $140,200 per year. The base pay may vary based on internal equity, geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided, in addition to a full range of benefits, depending on the level and position offered.
