Capital Markets & Project Finance Analyst

EnFin is looking for a talented individual to join the Capital Markets team to build a career in renewable energy finance. The Analyst will assist in executing transactions with investors across the capital stack—including equity, debt, and tax equity—and help in all aspects of capital raising from early investor outreach to deal management and data/cash flow modeling. The position is based in Irvine, CA; San Francisco, CA; Santa Clara, CA; or Teaneck, NJ, with an in-office schedule determined by the direct manager in accordance with company policies.

Responsibilities

Raise capital to fund the growth of EnFin’s residential TPO business in alignment with company projections and market growth strategies. Assist in deal execution with JV/debt/tax equity investors to ensure completeness. Build/maintain project finance/tax equity models with the most recent data for use by the capital markets team and other leaders. Review and revise various legal documents according to company and legal standards. Develop presentation materials for internal and external stakeholders, including investors and leadership. Assist the asset management team with preparing borrowing requests and executing tranche sales. Work closely with third-party appraisers, insurance providers, and independent engineers to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Perform recurring and ad-hoc analysis to support senior members and leaders of the capital markets team.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, engineering or related field. Minimum 5+ years of professional work experience including 2+ years in project finance or structured finance as a top-tier developer, asset manager, or investment bank. Passion for renewable energy and the adoption of rooftop solar. Relentless intellectual curiosity and unwavering attention to detail. Experience in MS Office Suite and Excel (Pivot tables, functions, VBA). Willingness to learn how to use new AI tools to enhance efficiency. Strong work ethic and ability to research, identify and troubleshoot problems independently. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to adapt and work well in a fast-paced start-up environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience building and maintaining complex project finance Excel models. Basic understanding of consumer lending, credit underwriting, and renewable energy finance. Experience with SQL, Python, or SAS. 2+ years of work experience in consumer or renewable energy finance.

The salary range provided is for California positions and may differ by location; actual compensation is influenced by factors including but not limited to skills, education, licenses and certifications, and experience.

Salary & Location

Base pay range: $75,000.00/yr - $95,000.00/yr. This range is provided by Qcells North America and may be updated by location.
