Join the New York office of a bold, collaborative global firm handling high-profile sponsor and strategic M&A. You’ll advise buyers and sellers—including private equity firms—on complex transactions in NYC’s fast-moving market and beyond, with meaningful responsibility, direct client interaction, and clear growth runway. Base pay range: $235,000.00/yr - $390,000.00/yr Additional compensation types: Annual Bonus Why this role?
Work shoulder-to-shoulder with partners on marquee PE/M&A deals. Expect end-to-end execution—term sheets to closing—plus negotiated principal documents, diligence leadership, and cross-functional teamwork. 2–6 years of PE/M&A experience at a leading corporate law firm Significant time spent running or heavily staffing high-profile M&A or PE transactions Excellent drafting/negotiation (stock/asset purchase, merger, JV, ancillary agreements) Strong analytical writing, organization, and project management; thrives under deadline Superior academic credentials; New York Bar admission (or ability to waive in) About Whistler Partners
