Overview

Senior Manager Experiential Production in New York City or Los Angeles responsible for leading the execution of custom events, tentpoles, editorial initiatives, and marketing partnerships. Requires hands-on production expertise and strong cross-functional collaboration to deliver integrated experiences that elevate brand campaigns. Responsibilities

Lead events end-to-end—from scoping, budgeting, and vendor management to on-site execution and post-event wrap. Oversee venue selection, catering, AV, design & fabrication, guest experience, and sponsor activations across a range of formats and brand goals. Manage production logistics, including project timelines, P&L development, budget tracking and reconciliation, vendor management, and day-of execution. Collaborate with marketing and design teams to shape guest list strategy, invitations, and attendance goals. Translate editorial concepts, brand priorities, and revenue opportunities into high-impact event concepts in collaboration with Experiential leadership, Creative, Editorial, Sales, and Network Development. Support creation of sales materials, sponsor packages, and go-to-market integrations for events and franchises as needed. Represent production in internal and client meetings to ensure ideas align with client expectations, budget, and feasibility. Research, evaluate, and source venues, vendors, and partners to support successful execution in various markets. Build and manage relationships with vendors, freelancers, and production partners to ensure quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Lead post-event debriefs, budget reconciliation, and performance analysis to measure success and inform future improvements. Take on additional projects as assigned to adapt to evolving team and business needs. Qualifications

3–5 years of proven experience producing large-scale and custom events. Proficiency in budget management and vendor negotiations. Strong communication, creative instincts, attention to detail, and operational discipline. Ability to balance editorial and commercial needs across departments. Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Google Suite. Familiarity with Vox Media’s brands and editorial voice. Location
