As the Manager, Marketing Strategy, you will support the Director, Marketing Strategy in driving Sephora's marketing priorities and strategic initiatives. You will partner with cross-functional teams, manage and track high-impact projects, and help ensure the operational excellence of Sephora's marketing organization. This role sits at the heart of Sephora's US Marketing organization, serving as a strategic partner and operational backbone for the CMO and marketing leadership. Responsibilities
Marketing Budget & Operations Support: Assist in the preparation, monitoring, and reconciliation of marketing budgets in close partnership with Finance and budget owners; support the annual marketing budget process, ensuring accuracy and alignment across budget lines; track spend against marketing objectives, deliver regular budget updates, and work closely with budget owners and finance; ensure operational excellence across marketing budget processes, identifying and implementing opportunities for efficiency. Strategic Project Management: Assist in planning, tracking, and project management of strategic marketing projects; identify risks, anticipate challenges, and proactively recommend solutions to keep projects on track; maintain project documentation, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and aligned. Presentation & Communication Development: Assist in developing parts of presentations for executive meetings, including Marketing Divisional, Brand Summit, and Store Leadership Conference; synthesize complex data, insights, and strategies into clear, compelling business stories for senior audiences; assist in preparing materials for Marketing Leadership Team meetings and quarterly Town Halls; support ad-hoc strategic presentation requests and special projects as needed. Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience) 5+ years' experience in management consulting, investment banking, or consumer-facing companies with large budget ownership Ability to communicate information and ideas clearly and concisely Ability to work in an office environment 3 days a week Ability to travel internationally once a year Competencies And Skills
Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and budgets in fast-paced, matrixed environments Executive presence and outstanding interpersonal skills; able to confidently interact with senior leaders and cross-functional partners Proven ability to distill complex topics into digestible, actionable narratives for executive audiences Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; highly detail-oriented and data-driven Collaborative, proactive, and solutions-oriented mindset Compensation & Benefits
The annual base salary range for this position is $114,750.00 - $128,250.00. The actual base salary offered depends on factors such as qualifications, experience, and location. Individuals may be eligible for bonuses. Sephora offers a comprehensive benefits package to full-time employees, including health, dental, and vision plans; a 401(k) plan; paid time off; employee discounts; life and disability insurance; flexible spending accounts; and an employee referral bonus program.
