Physician Advisory Services Customer Service Representative

Dane Street . The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for receipt of new cases and ensuring proper system drafting and setup. The CSR also takes direction and facilitates the case assignment and scheduling process. Dane Street’s success relies on individual and team contributions to maintain a positive working environment that promotes client satisfaction and results. Responsibilities
Handle receipt of new cases: intake and verify information, draft cases by entering data into the Dane Street system (AccessDS), and identify missing information from clients as needed. Sort, organize, and create medical document listings when required by the client and per handling guidelines. Assign/schedule new cases to physicians for review based on location, reviewer availability, guidelines, jurisdictional requirements, and client needs; ensure no conflicts of interest. Monitor, process, and track cases to meet deadlines. Maintain proactive client communication: provide updates on cases in progress and request any missing information to ensure proper documentation for the assigned reviewer. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned based on business needs.
Qualifications
Education/Credentials: An Associate’s Degree is preferred. Experience: Business experience in a healthcare and/or insurance setting is preferred. Skills/Competencies: Exceptional communication, ability to think critically, manage time efficiently, meet deadlines; computer literacy and typing skills.
Working Conditions
Long periods of sitting and computer work; any required lifting or travel as needed for duties. Work-from-home requirements: individuals must supply and support their own internet services; maintaining an uninterrupted internet connection is required.
