Overview
The Quality Analyst is responsible for managing the various aspects of the medical file review process. They will review the completed referral to ensure client questions have been addressed appropriately and review the completed report for accuracy, ensuring client and department standards are met.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
Quality Audits: Review reports accompanying medical records to ensure the report is complete and all client questions have been addressed.
Follow up with the reviewer for any additional questions or clarifications needed.
Follow up with the client if there are any additional questions.
Update clients frequently on referral progress.
Ensure the report is grammatically correct with no spelling errors.
Ensure each referral adheres to the QA checklist prior to completion.
Format reports for approval.
Communication
Communicate clearly and concisely between the customer, reviewer, and Operations team.
Speak with physicians and clients regarding the content of their peer reviews.
Requirements
Education/Credentials:
An Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
Job Relevant Experience:
Experience in a healthcare and/or insurance setting is preferred; familiarity with technology-based processes within a business environment.
Job Related Skills/Competencies:
Excellent communication skills, ability to apply critical thinking, manage time efficiently, meet deadlines, and maintain computer literacy and typing skills.
Working Conditions / Physical Demands Long periods of sitting and computer work; any lifting, bending, travel, etc. required to perform duties as listed.
Work From Home Technical Requirements Individuals must provide and maintain their own internet service and a reliable connection.
