Process Engineer I - New Grad 2026 (Multiple Locations)

CRB designs and builds facilities for the global life sciences and food and beverage industries. We are a leading provider of sustainable Engineering, Architecture, Construction and Consulting solutions. This role focuses on the design and engineering of manufacturing facilities and equipment, supporting facility infrastructure and critical utility systems. Responsibilities

Support the documentation of the process design scope in coordination with other disciplines. Work with architects, engineers, designers, and internal/external team members to ensure a coordinated, constructible and complete design. Self-check own work and communicate with peers and supervisors. Manage time effectively and work on one or more projects concurrently. Help solve complex problems under the direction of a mentor or supervisor. Assist with design work across the project lifecycle, including studies, conceptual and schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration. Engineering deliverables may include: Block and Process Flow Diagrams, User Requirements Specifications, Equipment List, Equipment General Arrangements, Equipment Datasheets, Utility Summary, Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs). Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Bioprocess Engineering from an ABET-accredited program 0–3 years of experience in a design firm or related engineering environment Registration for or successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam preferred Willingness to relocate to one of CRB’s office locations: Massachusetts (MA), Pennsylvania (PA), Orange County (OC), San Diego (SD), or St. Louis (STL) Preferred Qualifications

Experience with engineering calculations and discipline system designs Experience with chemistry/biochemistry, process modeling, material and energy balances, and sizing calculations Knowledge of fluid mechanics, hydraulic modeling, and basic heat transfer Strong communication and cross-discipline teamwork skills Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; familiarity with CAD and process modeling software Additional Information
