Senior Manager, Operations & Supply Chain
Base pay range $125,000.00/yr - $145,000.00/yr Position Summary The Senior Manager, Operations & Supply Chain provides strategic and operational leadership across all supply chain functions, ensuring OHI’s business operates efficiently, compliantly, and in alignment with global Omron objectives. This role is responsible for end-to-end operational performance — including forecasting, logistics, inventory, customer operations, and supply planning — while leading innovation through automation, process improvement, and data-driven decision-making. As a senior leader, this role strengthens succession depth, enabling scalability of operations and fostering a high-performing, agile team prepared to meet evolving business challenges. Key Responsibilities Operational Strategy & Leadership Develop and execute the overall supply chain and operations strategy for OHI, ensuring alignment with commercial goals, project integrations, and Omron headquarter initiatives. Lead all functional areas of forecasting, logistics, inventory management, and customer operations across broker and direct channels. Oversee strategic relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) partners, freight forwarders, and brokers to optimize cost, quality, and service levels. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on process efficiency, cost reduction, and operational excellence. Serve as a key member of the Commercial Operations leadership team, providing insights and recommendations to support decision-making and long-term business planning. Forecasting & S&OP Govern the monthly S&OP process, ensuring accurate demand planning, cross-functional alignment, and timely communication to stakeholders. Build AI- and data-driven forecasting models to enhance accuracy and agility in demand planning. Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to integrate new product launches, promotions, and channel-specific planning. Performance Reporting & KPI Management Establish, track, and report on key operational KPIs, including forecast accuracy, fill rate, logistics costs, and inventory turns. Partner with Finance to ensure accurate forecasting for budget and quarterly submissions. Deliver monthly operational performance dashboards and executive summaries with analysis and recommendations. Customer Operations & Compliance Oversee the customer operations function, ensuring on-time order processing, returns management, and customer satisfaction. Manage all compliance-related activities tied to JSOX, UL, and financial audits; ensure process documentation and data integrity. Oversee product recycling and environmental compliance reporting for the U.S. and Canada. Process Innovation & Systems Integration Lead integration of Project Oasis initiatives and other digital transformation programs impacting operations. Partner with IT and global stakeholders to leverage AI, automation, and advanced analytics tools to enhance forecasting, logistics, and inventory management. Ensure system readiness and data accuracy across ERP (JDE) and connected platforms. Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing operations team, ensuring career growth, succession readiness, and strong employee engagement. Define clear performance goals and accountability measures for direct reports. Champion cross-functional collaboration and foster a culture of transparency and innovation. Education, Experience, and Certifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or Business required; MBA or master’s degree preferred. APICS, Six Sigma, or equivalent certification strongly preferred. Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain or operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity. Proven success managing end-to-end supply chain operations, including forecasting, S&OP, logistics, and customer service. Experience in healthcare or regulated industries (medical device preferred). Demonstrated success implementing automation or AI-driven efficiency improvements. Experience with ERP systems (JD Edwards preferred). Exceptional strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strong leadership presence with ability to drive accountability and collaboration. Advanced Excel, Power BI, and business intelligence reporting capabilities. Knowledge of forecasting tools (e.g., Anaplan, Kinaxis) and automation solutions. Excellent communication and presentation skills for executive audiences. Ability to navigate ambiguity, manage multiple priorities, and lead through change. Travel Requirements Up to 20% domestic and limited international travel (for supplier, OHQ, and broker meetings).
